At Pathway to Code, we believe that all children should have the opportunity to gain knowledge of computer science at an early age. We are a free computer science organization dedicated to providing resources and support to children in underserved communities. Our programs are designed to provide a safe and interactive learning environment, to give children the opportunity to explore and develop their skills in computer science. We strive to bridge the gap between children from different backgrounds and help them gain a better understanding of computer science.

The Founder
Hi! My name is Ruhi Patel - a High School senior and a Girl Scouts Ambassador. I have always loved the endless possibilities of Computer Science and code. Wanting to spread my passion for STEM, I went to my local middle school with other computer science students in my High School. To our surprise, we discovered that a majority of the middle schoolers did not know much about Computer Science, or did not believe they had the ability to pursue Computer Science. In order to bridge the gap and make Computer Science knowledge more accessible I created Pathway to Code for my Girl Scout Gold Award.
